Charles W. Hobart, II, DMD
Dr. Hobart is a native of Florida. He grew up in South Florida and North Georgia. He graduated from The College of Charleston in 1993 and The Medical University of South Carolina in 1997. Following graduation, Dr. Hobart had a solo dental practice in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In 2008, he moved to Bluffton with his wife, Holly, and his son.
Dr. Hobart believes a comprehensive approach to dentistry is most beneficial to you. He enjoys helping you improve your function as well as appearance with implant and esthetic dentistry. A member of the American Dental Association and the South Carolina Dental Association, Dr. Hobart actively pursues continuing education.
Dr. Hobart enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.
Mary Lovell, DDS
Dr. Mary Lovell was born and raised in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, where she graduated cum laude with an undergraduate degree in human biology and development. She attended Marquette University School of Dentistry for her DDS degree. Dr. Lovell spent time after graduation working in private practice in Wisconsin, and she also obtained certification through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics for botulinum toxin (BOTOX®), dermal fillers, and trigger point injections for TMD/headaches/orofacial pain. Her grandparents and parents have vacationed in the Hilton Head Island area since the ’70s, and she finally decided to make the move out of the snow and into the sun! Dr. Lovell aspires to create a holistic method of dentistry by treating patients like her own family. Each patient deserves an individualized treatment plan with state-of-the-art equipment to create a beautiful smile. While not in the office, Dr. Lovell enjoys weekends boating, biking, fishing, attending Packers games, and spending time with her family and dog at the beach. Dr. Lovell is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
Andrew Phillips, DDS
Dr. Andrew Phillips is originally from Texas. He attended Baylor University and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelors in Science and minor in biology. Dr. Phillips met his wife, Hannah, at Baylor and they have been married since May of 2022. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery from UTHealth Houston dental school. His areas of interest in dentistry include serving on short term dental mission trips and CAD/CAM technology.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Phillips enjoys sports including volleyball, tennis, and pickleball! He also enjoys playing board games and going for walks with family and friends.
